An audience of several hundred people in Montreal responded enthusiastically to a presentation by Mesila director Shmuli Margulies and R. Lazar Carmel, director of Mesila’s international relations department, 
that raised awareness about Mesila’s approach to achieving financial stability. In a meeting that followed, community leaders requested that Mesila introduce courses for chossonim and kallos as part of the expansion of Mesila activities in Montreal.
